Census
1900 census of Rowan Co., Pierce precinct, enumerated 4 June, lists on p. 3A as family #44:
Alfrey, Harry, 32, b. Apr 1863, farmer; Sarah, wife, 30, b. June 1869, married 2 years, mother of 2 children, 2 living; Nettie, dau, b. Nov 1899, 7/12. All born Ky/Ky/Ky. (Although it says Sarah is the mother of 2 children, there is only one in this household, so it may be a second marriage for her as well.)

1910 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearce precinct, page 5B, enumerated 13 April, records as family #85/92:
Alfrey, Harry, 44, farm owner, second marriage, married 13 years; Sarah, wife, 43, first marriage, married 13 years, mother of 7 children, 5 living; Nettie, dau, 11; William T., son, 5; Lucy, dau, 3; Isaac, son, 1 4/12; Lulu, dau, 6/12. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearcy precinct, enumerated 24 Jan, lists on p. 8A as family #147/167:
Alfrey, Harry, 54, farmer; Sarah, wife, 50; William, son, 13; Lucy, dau, 12; Isaac, son, 11; Lulia, dau, 10. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1930 census of Menifee Co., Ky, district 2, Wellington precinct, enumerated April 29, lists on p. 10A as family #149/151:
Alfrey, Harry, 69, age at first marriage 20, farmer; Sarah, wife, 62, age at first marriage 14. Both born Ky Ky Ky.

The reported age at first marriage for Sarah is very inconsistent with the 1910 census, which would have put her age at first marriage as 30. So either the marriage to Harry was not really her first, or else the census taker assumed that it was a first marriage for both of them, and calculated her age at first marriage based on Harry’s age at first marriage and the difference between their ages.

The next household is headed by their son Isaac.
