I am not related to Harvey Jent or Myrtle Lewis. They are in my database because several of their children married relatives of mine: Gertrude married Allie Riddle, Charlie married Nina Riddle, and Allie Vernon married Kath Hudson, whose mother was a Quesinberry.

Jhent, Harvey, 23, farming; Myrtle, wife, 21; Gertrude, dau, 11/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.
1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Hogtown precinct, enumerated 11 April, lists on p. 5B as family #87/89:
Jent, Harvey, 35, age at first marriage 21; Myrtle M., wife, 31, age at first marriage 19; Gertrude, dau, 11; Robert F., son, 9; Charlie E., son, 8; Ida A., dau, 6; Roy V., son, 4 6/12; Allie V, son, 2 4/12; Early, Carl, brother-in-law, 20, single. All born in Ky.
Carl was listed as a Lewis in the 1920 census, age 10, and Frank Lewis did not die until 1912. Perhaps Early is his middle name and the census taker misunderstood it as a surname? Or maybe he was adopted, and Early is his birth name.
