A whole lot of family trees on Ancestry.com show the Mary Ann who was the wife of Hugh Ward as being the daughter of Benjamin Sexton and Comfort Smith. If that is so, then either this marriage to Solomon Cox ended in divorce, or a different Mary Ann Sexton married Solomon Cox.
