Catron, age 35 years 5 months 13 days, born 17 Aug 1891 in Ky, died 31 Jan 1927 in Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, length of stay in hospital 1 week, usual residence Marfork, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, married, name of wife Goldie Ro... (could be Ronvin, Rowina, Ronnins, etc. Ro followed by a squiggly line with a dot above it), occupation coal miner, father John Catron, mother’s maiden name Lucinda Hammonds, both born in Ky, cause of death pneumonia, informant Hubford Ro... (same kind of illegible surname as wife), burial in Marfork, W.Va.

Catron, Alfred, 28, b. Ky Ky Ky, coal miner; Goldie, wife, 19, b. W.Va W.Va W.Va; Marie, dau, 3 2/12; Charlotte, dau, 9/12. Both daughters born W.Va Ky W.Va.

1930 census of Randolph Co., West Virginia, Leadsville district, lists among the residents of the Odd Fellows Home, on p. 1B at lines 61 through 64:
Catron, Dewey, 9; Charlotte, 11; John W., 7; Marie, 14. All born W.Va U.S. U.S.

The inmates appear to be mostly orphans, ranging in age from 3 to 19, but there are also 3 toddlers (ages 1 10/12 to 2 3/12), 13 elderly (70 or over), one married couple in their 60’s, and 3 younger adults. They are listed alphabetically by surname, with no apparent ordering within those groups.
