Berry, John W., 53, b. Feb 1847, WVa WVa Va, carpenter; Sarah, wife, 41, b. Oct 1858, married 24 years, motherr of 11 children, 10 living; John E., son, 23, b. Apr 1877; Dasie, dau, 18; b. Since there are only 9 months between Aug 1886 and May 1887, it is likely that Manta was really born in Aug 1885, which would be consistent with her death record as well as the 1910 through 1930 censuses.
