This pair of frames demonstrates the two basic ways of making an element appear or vanish between frames. The "in love" face has two hearts and a pair of blushing cheeks that do not appear in the initial happy face.

The blushing cheeks are made to fade in by creating a set of cheeks in the happy face that are painted the same yellow as the background.

The hearts are made to "zoom in" by putting them at the top of the in-love face's background group, where they do not match with any element of the happy face background.
