Creating Parallel Groups for Blending
When blending between groups, Adobe Illustrator matches up the contents from back to front,
with any leftover objects at the front of the group with more elements vanishing down to a point.
So to create effective blends, you must take care that elements meant to match each other are at the same
location in the stacking order of each group, and objects meant to appear in one frame but not another
are at the front of some group.
This set of pages will show how the structure of each key frame in
the morphing faces animation is organized so that appropriate elements would pair up with each other.
The basic structure of each face is a circle in the back, grouped with any
skin characteristics such as checks or freckles,
followed by a mouth in the middle, followed by an eye group in front.
