In 1860 Henry is single, living as a farm laborer with the family of Benjamin and Ruth Garver.
Notes for Sarah G. Grisso
Lester Binnie's "Early Brethren Families of the Eel River Congregation" states that Sarah was raised by relatives of Lydia Baker in Ohio. This is consistent with her not being listed with the John Grisso family in the 1850 census. The family she is living with in the 1850 census is not named Baker, though, but Black. (See census notes.)
Her death certificate records Sarah G. Leffel, born 16 Feb 1844 in Clark Co., Ohio, died 29 July 1925 in Bethel twp, Clark Co., Ohio, age 81 years 5 months 13 days, widowed, late husband Henry Leffel, fother John Grisso born in Ohio, mother’s maiden name Liddie Baker, born in Ohio.
Her death certificate records Sarah G. Leffel, born 16 Feb 1844 in Clark Co., Ohio, died 29 July 1925 in Bethel twp, Clark Co., Ohio, age 81 years 5 months 13 days, widowed, late husband Henry Leffel, fother John Grisso born in Ohio, mother’s maiden name Liddie Baker, born in Ohio.

1860 census of Pike twp, Clark Co., Ohio, New Carlisle post office, p. 124, lists as family #894/930:
Andrew Black, 43; Catherine, 42; Cyrus, 11; Jennetta, 3; Sarah Gressoe, 15; Jacob Gressoe, 18. All born in Ohio. (Jacob and Sarah are also listed on the preceding page with the family of their father John Grisso and his second wife.)
Unfortunately neither of the above censuses record relationships. Catherine was not a Baker, though. Her maiden name was also Black, and she was a double first cousin of her husband.

Marriage listed in Volume 2, F. through L, of Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio: on page 57 as "Grisso, Sarah Sept. 17, 1862 Henry Leffel" and on page 197 as "Leffel, Henry Sept. 11, 1862 Sarah Grisso." The index cites the original marriage record as being in Book 5, page 463 of the Clark County Probate Court.
