Marriage of John Neher and Elizabeth Garst listed on page 72, Vol. 3, of Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio. Original record in Clark County Probate Court marriage Book 2, page 461. Although all family group sheets I have seen for John Neher say that he also married Lydia Studebaker in Clark County, there is no such marriage listed in Clark County Marriage Records. There were Studebaker families in neighboring Montgomery and Miami counties.

Dore M. Frantz cemetery records give Elizabeth's date of birth as 30 Sep 1823 and date of death as 5 July 1852. However, all other documents I've seen, including Our Garst Family (pages 227, 228) and Early Clark County Families, Vol. V, p.4, give her date of birth as 10 Oct 1823 and date of death as 15 July 1852. Perhaps Dore M. Frantz missed seeing a "1" on the date of death, and calculated the date of birth from age at death.
