This entry is only to hold together Frederick and Peter Figert to show that they were brothers; I really know nothing of their parents except that they were born in Germany, and probably remained there. Note, though, that both Peter and Frederick named a son Jacob, and both named one daughter Margaret and another Catherine. These are good bets for the names of their parents. Another good possibility for their father's name is John. Peter definitely had a son named John, and Frederick may have, since he had two sons I do not know the names of. And Granny Figert said that Walter's grandfather's name was John; she may have been thinking of his great-grandfather (it is known that she called her own great-grandfather, George Grisso, her "grandfather" when she was telling stories about when and how he died.)
