Notes for John L. Frantz
The attribution of John L. Frantz, husband of Catherine Frantz, to the family of Benjamin Frantz and Elizabeth Flory, is based on Lela Shoup's submission to Early Clark County Families, Vol. II, page 118, on the Nicholas Frantz/Catherine Crist family. I find it curious that Benjamin would have one son named John and another named Jonathan, but perhaps they were not considered as closely equivalent then as they are now.
