Lester Binnie's "The German Baptist Arnolds" lists Joseph's date of birth as 7 Aug 1822. But Binnie's Cemetery Records of Paw Paw and Pleasant Townships of Wabash County, p. 5, records that his gravestone says he was born 17 Aug 1822, died 18 May 1882, age 59 y 9 m 1 d.
