Glen Gallagher [71056,1055] on CompuServe ROOTS Forum gives the place of birth of Christian Welbaum as Alleghany twp., Huntingdon Co., PA. Leona Betteridge in Vol. 23, No. 4, p. 70 of the Fellowship of Brethren Genealogists Newsletter gives his place of birth as Bedford Co., PA, and his date of death as 1873. However, in the family group sheet she sent me on 10 Jan 1993, she gives his date of death as 19 Jan 1880
