According to Leona Betteridge, Charles Welbaum served as a Hessian soldier and U.S. soldier in the Revolutionary War, lived in Lancaster, York, and Bedford Cos of PA, ca 1813 to Montgomery Co., OH. Her group chart for this family on p. 70, Vol. 23, No. 4, Winter 91-92, lists 8 children of whom Christian is the 6th. I am not entering the other children.
