Most data on family of George Schuyler & Susan Philhower from chart compiled by Elizabeth Laughlin (see Notes for Jacob Philhower.) She does not give her sources for this family. Her chart does not list any places of birth or death for the children, nor any marriage dates or places, so I suspect that she obtained them from someone else's chart. She lists an additional unnamed son between William Harvey and Nicholas, no dates, with the notation "died Civil War." Since any son born 1852-1855 would be too young to fight in the Civil War, I am not including this person. I should check the 1860 censuses of Clermont Co. OH and Madison Co. IL.

Mrs. Laughlin gives Susan's date of birth as about 1798. Sheila Young has it as 1814. The latter seems more consistent with her husband's age.
