Census
1830 census of Clermont Co., Ohio, Stonelick township, page 280, line 20:
Jacob Philhower, 1 male under 5, 1 male 15-19, 1 male 60-69, 1 female under 5, 1 female 10-14, 2 females 15-19, 1 female 50-59.
In the summer of 1830, Effie Ann would be 12, Susan Elizabeth 16, William 19, and Peter 21. Both William and Peter were recently married, William in April and Peter in May. Probably the male 15-19 is William, and one of the females 15-19 is his wife. Neither of them would have been married long enough to have a child yet, though. So I don’t know who the two children under 5 are.
Census Notes for Elizabeth Hart
Elizabeth was with her son William Philhower in the 1850 census, Clermont Co., OH, and with dau Effie Carter in the 1860 census, Madison Co., IN, 83 yrs old. (Either Elizabeth's age in this census, or her daughter Mary's birthdate on her gravestone, may be off a year or two as together they would imply that Elizabeth gave birth to Mary when she was 14 years old.)
