Cemetery Records of Carroll County, p. 447, stone has only years 1829- 1897. Full dates from Mary Q. Kell. I don't know her source, perhaps a family bible (she has seen many of them.) Assignment as a child of Thomas & Tobitha from John Alderman's annotated 1850 Census of Carroll County.

Some researchers show his middle name as “Jeffrey” and others as “Jefferson”. I’m leaving it as just Jeff, pending some more definitive source.
