I could not find Burl in the index to Kentucky death records. Rhea Jennings says that he died in 1967 in a nursing home in Ashland. The Social Security Death Index lists Burl Wilson, born 13 Oct 1884, died 15 Aug 1967, last residence Morehead, Ky.

Index to Kentucky death records lists Mahala S. Wilson, d. 3 Oct 1979, age 91, in Bath Co., residence Rowan Co. Certificate Vol. 46, #22701.

Rowan Co. marriage book 6, p. 605 records marriage on 5 June 1909 of Burrell Wilson, 23, s/o Bige & Martha Wilson, to Mahala S. Hall, 21, d/o Geo W. & Nancy A. Hall, by Wesley Cox at his home, witnesses Albert Lambert & Minnie B. Skaggs.

1910 census of Rowan Co., Hogtown prec., E.D. 156, page 15A, lists as family #245 (between Jack Williams and Arch Kidd):
Wilson, Bige, 53; son Burl, 25; dau-in-law Mahaley S., 22; married 2 years, mother of 1 child, living. All born in Ky.
Curiously, although it states that Mahala is the mother of a living child, there is none listed with the family.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Wagoner precinct, p. 171A, taken 9 Jan, lists as family #58/61 (between Bige Wilson and Allie Thornsberry):
Wilson, Burl, 35; Hala, wife, 28; Vada, dau, 8; Oliver, son, 1 9/12. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Wagoner precinct, enumerated 7 April, lists on p. 3A as household #36:
Wilson, Burrel, 45, farmer, age at first marriage 24; Mahala, wife, 41, age at first marriage 21; Oliver, 11, son. All born Ky Ky Ky.
