Pages 10-11, The Genealogy of William Tobias Phillips, by Elza Cox. Profile includes the following "On the night of Dec. 17, 1902, Robert fell from a high doorway, receiving a dangerous wound to his head. Doctor Graham was called to the residence, where he pronounced the injury as a fracture of the skull. He recovered from the injury and lived over six years, passing away on Jan. 6, 1908, age 95."

1880 census of Floyd Co., Virginia, Indian Valley district, enumerated 4 June, lists on p. 10 as family #83/84:
Phillips, Robert W., 67, farmer; Nancy, 68, wife; Tobias, 29, son; Elizabeth, 28, daughter in law; Lucy O., 8, granddau; Abba G, 6, granddau; Laura E., 5, granddau; Andrew C., 2, grandson; Nancy L., 2, granddau; Rosie A., 3/12, b. Feb, granddau; Druzella (mulatto), 19, servant. All born Va/Va/Va.

The preceding household is that of Robert and Nancy’s son Robert Jr. That household includes a black servant Fannie Phillips age 34 who might be Druzella’s mother.
