1870 census of Fleming Co., Ky, Mt. Carmell precinct, enumerated 15 June, lists on p. 6 as family #38/39:
Clarke, Lenord, 34, farmer, Sarah, 33; James, 13; Ruth, 11; Bob, 9; Washington, 7; Jane, 2; Mary, 3/12, b. Feb. All are listed as born in Kentucky, although it is inconsistent with other records for Leonard.)
1880 census of Chariton twp, Howard Co., Missouri, enumerated 1 June, lists on p. 1 as family #2:
Clark, Leonard, 44, farmer; Sarah, wife, 43; Robert, son, 18; Washington, son, 14; Jane, dau, 12; Mary, dau, 10; William, son, 7; Addison, son, 3. Sarah is listed as born Ky Va Va, all others Ky Ky Ky, although it is incorrect for Leonard’s parents.
