Notes for Harlan Hall
Harlan was an auto mechanic for 39 years. He also did welding, carpentry, and electrical work. When he was a young man he was in a bluegrass band with Bennie Baldridge, playing the banjo, mandolin, and guitar, and writing songs. He moved from Clearfield to Wabash in 1955.

The Marion (Indiana) Chronicle-Tribune of 12 May 2005 reported “WABASH - Harlan Hall, 93, formerly of 582 State St., died Monday in Miller’s Merry Manor West. Born in Kentucky, he was a mechanic at Dorais Chevrolet for more than 40 years.
Survivors include sons, Wilburn of Wabash, and Harold and Jesse, both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Burial is in Center Grove Cemetery.”
