Most of my information on the Ollie Lambert family is from Vernon's obituary in the Morehead News of Dec 10, 1996, which says:
"Vernon Raymond Lambert, 59, of 2600 U.S. 60 West, Morehead, died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 7, at his residence.
He was born on July 8, 1937 in Rowan County to the late Ollie and Jewell D. Caudill Lambert.
He worked at Carr Lumber Company, Morehead, for 25 years as a foreman and was an inspector for Ken-Mor Sone, Morehead, served four years with the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the Bluebank Church of God.
He was preceded in death by Michael Lambert, his son. Surviving are his wife, Billie Jo Ellis Lambert; two sons, Vernon Winston Lambert of Morehead and Randy Lambert of Waterville, Maine; one daughter, Vickie Lee Lambert of Waterville, Maine; five brothers, Ray Lambert of Morehead, James O. Lambert of Mt. Sterling, Paul Lambert of Jonesboro, Ark., Gary Lambert of Morehead and John Lambert of Mt. Sterling; four sisters, Juanita Armstrong of Morehead, Hilda Preziosi of Boynton Beach, Fla., Zora Hiler of Mt. Sterling and Blandena Valerian of Rocky Hill, Conn."
