1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Wagoner precinct, taken 8 April, lists on p. 3B as family #56:
Jones, Frankie, 56, age at first marriage 56; Malinda, wife, 45, age at first marriage 45. Both born Ky/Ky/Ky.
They have apparently interpreted the question as being the age at which they first married each other.
1940 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Clearfield, enumerated 2 May, lists on p. 14B as family #259, on Needles Branch Rd:
Jones, Frank, 67, farmer; Linda, wife, 56. Both born in Kentucky, living in same house in 1935.
The next household is headed by Frank’s son Roscoe.
