Rowan Co. marriage book 6, p. 439, records marriage on 17 Sep 1908 of Elishia B. Tolliver, 21, s/o R. W. Tolliver (b. N.C.) and Pina Wilson (b. Elliott Co.) to Nettie M. Hall, 23, d/o Ben & Clemma Hall, at Clemma Hall's by Wesley Cox, witnesses Clemmie Hall & Clarence Hall. (Elisha's mother had probably remarried, since she is listed as Piety Adkins on her own marriage record in book A, and in all early Rowan Co. marriage books, mothers of the bridal couple are listed under their married names, not their maiden names.)

Elisha and Nettie were first cousins, Elisha’s father and Nettie’s mother being brother and sister.

I cannot find this family in the 1910 census.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, precinct #9 (Wagoner), lists as family #18/20:
Tolliver, E. M. D., 34; Nettie, wife, 34; Harrison (?), son, 10; Etta Loretta, dau, 3 2/12; Hall, Clemma, mother-in-law, 60. (The name of the son is very hard to read. The enumerator first wrote Etta Loretta in that line, then tried to erase it and write over it much darker. What it most looks like is Ham••r, where the dots represent blobs of ink. There are no descenders, so it isn’t Hampton or Hopkins. Hanover and Hamner are other possible interpretation.)

1930 census of Greenup Co., Ky, Thompson precinct, enumerated 2 April, lists on p. 1A as family #5:
