He was listed in his brother William’s 1942 obituary as surviving, and as “the late Green Jones” in the Jan 1959 obituary of his son Jesse.
His death certificate (Vol. 13, #06181) records Green B. Jones, age 88 years 3 months, born 5 Dec 1861 in Ky, died 5 March 1950 in Morehead, Rowan Co., Ky, occupation farmer, widowed, father William Jones, mother’s maiden name Barbara Myers, cause of death arteroscleratic heart disease, informant Alfred Jones, Morehead, burial in Brown Cemetery.

Sallie’s maiden name of Sparks is from the obituaries of her husband and of their son Jesse, and the death certificate of their son Leonard.
Her death date is from Green’s obituary. But the Kentucky Death index lists no Sarah, Sally or Sallie Jones who died in 1941.
