He served from 6 Sep 1814 to 31 Mar 1815 and was discharged at or near Sandusky, Ohio. He was a musician in the 28th Regiment. Nancy states that since Benjamin's discharge, they resided in Vanceburg, KY, Cincinnatti, OH, Adams, Scioto, and Lawrence Counties, Ohio. Nancy Van Horn had been previously married to Benjamin Van Horn.
