According to John P. Alderman, Thomas left Virginia for Tennessee about 1807. Mr. Landreth of Pulaski, VA, has that he was born 1774, and married Tabitha b. 1776. He does not give sources. I am not sure that the wife Tabitha is not a confusion with Thomas the son of Frederick.
