Notes for Garland H. Dalton
His gravestone says that he was born 11 Feb 1873, but it is very likely incorrect, since his parents were married in August 1872, and he was listed as age 4 in the 1880 census (taken in June), with his older brother George listed as age 5. George was probably actually 6 or 7, but unless the children were listed out of age order, Garland couldn’t have been 7.
