Braxton apparently died before 1860, as he is not listed in that census.

This family is confusing. There is no marriage record for Owen and Luanna, nor is there any death record for Braxton or Owen, nor any birth records for Mary and Asa. I figure any of the following are possible:

1. Luanna married only Braxton, both Mary and Asa are his, and she was just residing in the same household with his brother Owen in the two years between Braxton’s death (unrecorded) and her remarriage to Eli Dickerson in 1862.
2. Luanna married Owen some time after Braxton’s death but for some reason the marriage wasn’t recorded, in which case Asa or even both of the children may be Owen’s.
3. Braxton and Owen are in fact the same person, who was mistakenly listed twice in 1850.

Unfortunately the 1860 census does not record relationships or marital status.

Floyd Co., Virginia marriage register 3, p. 162, records the marriage of Braxton Wade and Louanna Wade on 7 July 1857.

Braxton and Louanna were first cousins.

I do not know whether Mary and Asa are children of Braxton or of his brother Owen, so I am linking them into both families.
