Dora through Everett are children of Harvey's first wife Margaret Caudill. I do not know who Maggie's third living child was; any child of her first marriage, to William Lawson in Sep 1899, should be no more than 10 years old.

I cannot find a death record for her. She may be the Maggie Sexton buried in Prather-Stamper Cemetery, with no birthdate, and the death date 3 Jan 1919.

Rowan Co. marriage book 6, p. 7, records marriage on 19 Aug 1906 of Harvey Porter, 46, s/o C. H. Porter (b. Va) & Susan (b. Johnson Co.), to Margaret Baldridge, 27, b. Floyd Co., d/o Morgan Baldridge (b. Floyd Co.), at George Caudill's by Wesley Cox, witnesses Morgan Baldridge & Lillie Sexton. Second marriage for both spouses.

Harvey and Maggie both died before the 1920 census.

In 1920 Vincel was listed with Maggie’s father Morgan Baldridge, as Vincel Porter, grandson, age 11, and Earl was listed as age 12, nephew, with Harvey’s brother Sam Porter.

In 1930 Jack was listed with his maternal uncle Dock Baldridge as Jack Porter, boarder, age 21.
