The Ohio deaths database lists Mertie P. Caudill, age 79, died 5 Dec 1960 in Mercy Hospital North, Hamilton, Butler Co., Ohio, widowed.
Warning: The One World Tree mistakenly identifies her with the Myrtle W. Caudill who died 23 Nov 1950 in Fayette Co., Ky, but that is Myrtle Whiteaker, daughter of Alexander Whiteaker and Zorelda Brown of Morgan Co., who married Cornelius Caudill.
Since she was born after 1880, and married before 1900, she does not appear in any census with her parents.
