(I am assuming that he was really born in Rowan Co.; nearly all births in Rowan Co. from 1912 through 1917 are indexed as Breathitt Co. due to a numerical encoding error.11)
His death certificate states Henry Petitt, age 2 years 10 months 9 days, born 9 April 17, died 28 Feb 1920 in Rowan Co., father Ollie Petitt born Morgan Co., Ky, mother’s maiden name Elizia Elam born Rowan Co., Ky, cause of death scarlet fever, informant Luster Cogswell, Farmers, Ky, burial in Siloam Cemetery.
