The birth index at Kentucky Vital Statistics office in Frankfort lists Chester R. Pettitt, b. 4-6-1913 in Bath Co., mother's maiden name Mary Thompson
Death Certificate (from KY Vital Statistics Dept) for Chester Roy Petitt, died July 3, 1914 in Salt Lick, Bath Co. States that he was age 1 yr, 1 mo, 1 day, father Grant Petitt, mother's maiden name Mary Thompson, cause of death cerebro spinal meningitis. (In the microfiche index, his age is given as 52, which is why I sent for this death certificate when trying to find Pettits born before 1900. On the certificate, the only place 52 appears is as the number of the registration district.)
