1860 census of Boone Co., Ky, Walton precinct, enumerated 8 Aug, lists on p. 215 as family #1628/1579:
Leroy Beagle, 55, manager of farms; Sally, 55; Pamelia, 16. All born in Ky.

1870 census of Pendleton Co., Ky, precinct 1, Falmouth P.O., lists on p. 8 as family #56:
Beagle, L., 70, working a farm; Sarah, 70; Permelia, 25. All born in Ky.

The preceding household is Thos Beagle age 31 with wife Elizabeth age 25.

Their daughter Permelia’s death certificate gives her mother’s maiden name as Nancy Porter, but the 1850 through 1870 censuses all show Leroy’s wife as Sarah. I do not know whether the death certificate is incorrect, or if Leroy had an earlier wife. If the latter, then Sarah would not be the mother of any of his children, since Permelia was the youngest.

I was not able to locate death certificates for any of Leroy’s other children to see what was listed as their mother’s maiden name.
