His WWI draft registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), saysBenjamin Franklin McBrayer, age 40, residence Wagner, Ky, born 10 Feb 1878, occupation farmer, self-employed, nearest relative Myrtle McBrayer, wife.

The index to Kentucky death records lists Myrtle W. McBrayer, died 29 Dec 1972, age 90, in Boyd Co., residence Rowan Co., certificate Vol. 65, #32303.

Rowan Co. marriage book 3, p. 16, records marriage on 27 Jan 1898 of B. F. McBrayer, 19, farmer, residence Wagner, to Mirty White, 15, residence Wyatt, born and father born in Rowan Co., mother born in Fleming Co, at David Day's by F. M. Crisp, witnesses Arch Kidd & Jno. Fanning, surety Charles White.

Except where otherwise noted, my source for birthdates, marriages, etc., on children of this family is from the McBrayer Genealogy book published in Oklahoma, which I don't have a copy of, but I've examined at the homes of several relatives.

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearce precinct, enumerated 1 June, lists on p. 1B as family #10:
McBrayer, Benjamin, 22, b. Feb 1878; Myrtle, wife, 18, b. Mar 1882, married 2 years, mother of 1 child, 1 living; Liuwada, daughter, 8/12, b. Sep 1899. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.

1910 census of Rowan Co., KY, Hoggtown prec., lists on page 15A, family #251 (next door to Isaac Thornsberry):
McBrayer, Ben, 32, farmer, KY KY KY; (w) Myrtie, 28, KY KY KY; married 12 years, 6 children, 5 living; (d) Vada, 10; (d) Nora, 8; (d) Bertha, 6; (d) Susan, 4; (s) Willie, 1.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Wagner precinct, lists on p. 6, on Ridge Road between Wagner and Minor Creek, as family #48/51:
McBrayer, B. F., 41; Myrtle, 37; Vada, dau, 20; Nora, dau, 18; Bertha, dau, 15; Susan, dau, 13; Willie, son, 10; Jesse, son, 8; Lula, dau, 6; George, son, 4 2/12; Erney, son, 1 9/12. (Erney is really a daughter; the enumerator must have assumed it was short for Ernest.)
