His name was Silas Blair. She then married Joseph Slusher Jr. To this union was born Sam, Henry M., Lucy, Nancy J., and Rachel Slusher."

Her death certificate (vol 55, #27284) states Sarah Elizabeth Slusher, age 82, born June 6 in Morgan Co., Ky, died 19 Dec 1945 in Hamm, Rowan Co., Ky, father John Jinnings born Tennessee, mother Rachel Fannin, born Morgan Co., Ky, cause of death broncal pneumonia, informant Henry Slusher, Morehead, Ky, R 3.

Her gravestone is a rough stone with hand-carved lettering, which says Sarah Slusher, Born Jun 6, 1863 Died Dec 18, 1945.
