Notes for George Washington Quesinberry
His WWI draft registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), says George Washington Quesinberry, age 29, residence Sharkey, Ky, born 17 June 1887 in Wagner, Ky, occupation farmer, self-employed, married supporting a wife and 4 children.
Index to Kentucky Death Records lists George W. Quesinberry, d. 22 May 1968, age 80, in Rowan Co., certificate Vol. 31, #15388.
Social Security Death index lists Geo Quisenberry, b. 17 June 1887, d. May 1968, SSN 404-16-8419 issued in KY, last residence in Morehead, KY. (The birthdate is in conflict with the 1900 census, which gives it as June 1886.)
Notes for Miranda Frances Caskey
It is possible that this is also the Miranda Caskey who married Henry Click on 16 Apr 1910 in Elliott Co. If so, then Mr. Armitage would be her second husband, and George Quesinberry her third.
Index to Kentucky Death Records lists Miranda F. Quisenberry, d. 17 Jun 1967, age 73, in Rowan Co., certificate Vol. 30, #14677.
Notes for George Washington & Miranda Frances (Family)
Rowan Co. marriage book 52, p. 58 lists marriage on 18 Oct 1947 of George W. Quesinberry, 60, widowed, s/o Isaac & Alice Quesinberry, to Maranda F. Armitage, 53, widowed, b. Morgan Co., d/o Frank Caskey & Margaret Blair. (Since Rowan Co. did not start listing mothers of the bridal couple under their maiden names until 1954, this probably means that Miranda's mother had remarried to a Blair.)
