Notes for James ("Jim") Anderson Wade
His birthdate as inscribed on his gravestone (at least as reported in the Cemeteries of Indian Valley book) is 5 July 1858, but that is inconsistent with census records, where he appears as age 7 in 1860 (recorded in August), age 15 in 1870 (recorded in June) and age 36 in 1890 (recorded in June.) So I am entering it into my database as 1853.
