Hannah is named as Hannah Burdett in her father's will written in 1779. Elza Cox in his Genealogy of William Tobias Phillips, identifies her as the wife of George Phillips b. 1728, father of Tobias Phillips, but that appears to be an erroneous family tradition (see notes for George's wife Hannah for details.)
