Tazewell Co., Virginia marriage register Book 1, p. 42, contains an entry “I Do hereby certify to John Crockett clerk of Tazewell County that on the time requested in this list the following cauples was joined together by me John Perry to wit, ... also Rolin Dillion and Betsey Clark August the 21 by license 1817.”
Census
1850 census of Madison Co., Ky, district 10, enumerated 19 Aug, lists as family #224/228:
Rowlin Dillion, 54; Elizabeth, 67; Mary, 24; Edmy (?), 21. All born in Virginia.
“Edmy” might be “Edny” or “Edwy” instead. The gender column has what looks like an overwritten M and F, and I cannot tell which one was meant to supercede.
1860 census of Madison Co., Ky, division 1, enumerated 12 June, lists on p. 32 as family #226/223:
Rowland Dillion, 66, cutting wood, b. Va; Elizabeth, 79, b. Va; Polly A., 33, b. Ky; Charles, 6, b. Ky.
In 1870 Elizabeth was listed as 86, with her daughter Martha.
