Feb 1882, married 2/12; Rosa, D in law, 15, b. Jun 1885, married 2/12; Donahu, Susan, mother, 72, b. May 1822, widowed, mother of 3 children, 2 living; Wm, brother, 58, b. Sept 1843, 56, widowed. (The age and birthdate for Susan are inconsistent, but both clearly legible.)
The relationships deserve some explication, since many of them are not reported correctly relative to Wm W. Pierce.
Arthur Staton is the son of Laura and her first husband Elza Staton, and is thus a stepson of William Pierce.
Susan (nee Brown) Donahue is indeed William Pierce’s mother; she had remarried to Alfred Donahue.
William Donahue is the son of Alfred Donahue and his first wife Mariah Payne. He is thus a stepson of Susan (Brown) Donahue, and a stepbrother of William Pierce.
