Notes for Hiram Conn
The Elliott Co. history book lists his date of birth as 10 May 1833, but that is inconsistent with the 1850 census record and with the birthdates of his siblings.
It also states that he married Lucinda Sheighly in 1852 in Greene Co., Ohio, that he lived most of his life in Van Wert Co., Ohio, and that he died in 1912 in Lewis Co., Kentucky. But he is not listed in the Kentucky Death Index, so I’m not real convinced that he didn’t die in Ohio too.
