Her death certificate records Mary Fraley, age 72 years 5 months 1 day, born 4 Nov 1854 in Ky, died 5 Apr 1926 in Rowan Co., Ky, married, father George McDaniel, mother’s maiden name Lizzie Royse, both born in Ky, cause of death chronic stomach trouble, informant Jasper Fraley, Minor, Ky, burial in Fraley Cemetery.
The reported age at death is inconsistent with the reported birthdate - it would imply a birthdate of 4 Nov 1953. She was listed as age 9 in the 1860 census, and age 17 in the 1870 census, so a birth in 1851 or 1852 is more consistent with the census records. Since birth recording began in 1852, and she does not appear in the birth records in Morgan or Fleming Co., 1851 seems most likely.
