Rowan Co. marriage book 4, p. 517, records the marriage on 22 Aug 1904 of John Jennings, 47, third marriage, farmer, residence Wyatt, born Rowan Co., father born Tennessee, mother born Morgan Co., to Arie Green (sp?), 30, second marriage, residence Morehead, born Elliott Co., father born Virginia, at the house of J. W. Boggs by F. M. Crisp, witnesses John Boggs and Sarah Boggs.
Her name is probably really Annie or Ava, but since they were divorced by 1910 and apparently had no children, I have no other record to compare the name with. (John Boggs and his wife Sarah Fannin were too young to be her parents. They did name their only daughter Anna, though, so if that is her name, she may be a sister of one of them.)
