Howard Crose writes by email that Frank died 7 Feb 1950 in Waukegan, Illinois. Waukegan is a suburb north of Chicago, along the shore of Lake Michigan, about 8 miles from the Wisconsin border. Howard's source was probably Frank's son Bruce.
