The SSDI lists Omer L. Trent, born 7 Mar 1919, died 4 Jan 2004, last residence Morehead, Rowan Co., Ky.

The Kentucky birth index lists Dorothy Adkins, born 19 Nov 1919 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Martha M. Adkins.

It also lists Reeny Adkins, born 20 Nov 1919 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Martha Sparks. I don’t know if one is a correction of the other, or if Dorothy had a twin who died young. There is no corresponding death record, though.

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 44, p. 260, records the marriage on 24 Apr 1937 of Omer Trent, age 18, son of Harrison & Gladys Trent, to Dorthy Adkins, age 17, daughter of Freeland & Martha Adkins, both spouses single, born in Rowan Co. and residents of Elliottville, at Elliottville by J. W. Mabry, minister of the United Baptist church, witnesses Ranzie Adkins and Miriam Christina Binion.

1940 census of Rowan Co., Ky, precinct 3 (Elliottville), enumerated 2 May, lists on p. 6B as household #96, on Trent Ridge:
Trent, Omer, 21, farmer; Dortha, wife, 20. Both born in Kentucky, recorded as both living in the same house in 1935, although it is unlikely to be correct.
