I cannot find him in the Kentucky birth or death records, even searching all records in Rowan and Elliott counties for those years. The Trent men often spent time in West Virginia working in the lumber camps; it may be that he was born and died there and was only buried in Rowan Co. Or it could be that the family just did not record his birth and death.
