Kegley, Samuel, 30, farmer; Elizabeth, 25; William, 6; Jackson, 3; Sarah, 10/12, born August.
All are listed as born in Virginia, but the 1880 census shows all of the children as born in Kentucky. The date of birth for Sarah conflicts with Dianna Gilliam’s files, which show Sarah as born 10 Apr 1869. Dianna is a great-granddaughter of Samuel H. Conn & Sarah E. Kegley. Neighboring families are John J. Kegly 26, James S. Kegly 21 (both single), and William & Rebecca Catron.
