Floyd Co., Virginia birth records list Layfayett Quesenberry, born 14 Apr 1875, parents William and Eli.
Many family trees identify this Lafayette Quesenberry with the one who married Alverta Thurman in 1899 in Carroll Co., VA, but I believe that was more likely the one who was the son of Amos Quesenberry and Paulina Phillips. See the family notes for Lafayette and Alverta for discussion of my reasoning.
If this is not that Lafayette, then he most likely died before 1900, or at least before WW I draft registration began, although considering the number of ways Quesenberry gets misspelled and/or mistranscribed (e.g., as Leusenburg and Omipenbery), it is possible that he is so badly misindexed that I cannot find him.
