Notes for Christopher Dickson Prather
Rowan Co., Ky birth records list the birth of Nathan D. Prater on 29 Dec 1876 in Rowan Co., father Eli F. Prater born in Bath Co., mother’s maiden name George Ann Donnahew born in Rowan Co.

This birth record is apparently for the son listed as Christopher age 3 in the 1880 census, and as Dickson age 20 born Jan 1880 in the 1900 census. He later went by Christopher Dickson (or Dixon), and reported his birthdate as 29 Jan 1877, exactly one month later than the birth report. (Siblings cannot be born one month apart.)

His WW I draft registration card, filed 12 Sep 1918, records Crisie Dixon Prayther, age 41, residence Sultan, Snohomish Co., Washington, born 29 Jan 1877, occupation mill yard, employer Wallace Lbr & Mfg Co, nearest relative Annie M. Prayther, same address.
Census Notes for Christopher Dickson & Anna May (Family)
I’m pretty sure this is the 1910 census for this family, even though the age for Dickson is off by quite a lot (he should be 33 according to his birth record, or 32 to be consistent with his age in most of the later censuses):

1910 census of Menifee Co., Ky, Beaver precinct, enumerated 28 April, lists on p. 11B as family #164/169:
Prater, Dick, 26, laborer on railroad; Annie, wife, 25, first marriage for both, married 9 years, mother of 2 children, 2 living; Pearl, dau, 8; Iva, son, 4. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1920 census of Snohomish Co., Washington, Sultan precinct, enumerated 5 Jan, lists on p. 10A as family #79/88:
Prather, Chris D., 42, b. Ky N.C. Illinois, mill worker at saw mill; Anna, wife, 34, b. Ky Ky Ky; Geneva, dau, 17; Iven M., son, 13; Paul William, son, 8. All children born Ky Ky Ky.

1930 census of Snohomish Co., Washington, Sultan precinct, enumerated 5 April, lists on p. 6B as family #153/154:
Prayther, Dickson C., 52, age at first marriage 24, b. Ky N.C. U.S., rigger at lumber camp; Anna M., 45, age at first marriage 17, b. Ky Ky Ky; Ivan, son, 23, survey at lumber camp; Paul, son, 18, laborer at odd jobs. Both sons born Ky Ky Ky.

(Paul is also redundantly enumerated in Seattle with his sister Geneva and his wife Lorraine.)

The Seattle, Washington City Directory for 1931 lists Chris D. Prather with wife Anna, at 4311 4th Ave NW, Seattle.

1940 census of King Co., Washington, Seattle, ED 40-31, enumerated April 10, lists on p. 6B as family #159, at 502 N. 72nd St:
Prather, Paul, 28, b. Ky, boom man at lumber saw mill; Lorraine, wife, 29, b. Wash; Delores, dau, 9, b. Wash; Anna, mother, 56, b. Ky, widowed; Hayward, Geneva, sister, 38, b. Ky, divorced, dentist’s assistant; Dixon, nephew, 15, b. Wash; Alfrey, Sam, uncle, 54, b. Ky, single, boom man at lumber saw mill. All living at same place (but not same house) in 1935.

Paul, Lorraine, and Anna May are recorded as living at this same address in the 1955 Seattle city directory.
